Yes, if you would like to trade in your Kesslers diamond you may do so at any time and receive exactly what you paid for it towards any other Kesslers merchandise. Why Does Kesslers Set Its Diamonds in Palladium Heads? Palladium is a precious metal and a member of the platinum family with properties almost identical to platinum. Its wearability is equal to that of platinum, and far superior to the more commonly used white gold. It's a bright white metal, and unlike white gold which is only 58% pure, it is used in the same 95% pure state as platinum, so it is very hypoallergenic. At Kesslers, we have a vested interest in setting your diamond in the best possible metal, after all, we're warranting it against loss for life. Yes, every diamond that we sell at Kesslers comes with a written report of the grade and the value. Many diamonds come to us with an independent grading report, however we still put these through our rigorous and painstaking evaluation process and we find that approximately fifty percent of them are graded too high. If the diamond meets our standard for beauty, and is a good value we will re-grade the diamond down to the appropriate grade and offer it for sale without the original report. A grading laboratory cannot be held legally responsible for the grade they put on diamonds, but the jeweler can. We take that responsibility very seriously; after all it is our reputation that is on the line, so we stand behind the grading of each and every one of our diamonds unequivocally.
