Kesslers® Commitment to Our Community
All of us at Kesslers® believe in the value of giving back to our communities. In fact, our Purpose Statement is “To build an enduring company that offers extraordinary benefits and opportunities to all of its associates and to the communities in which they live and work.”
We try to fulfill that purpose in many ways, including:
Beautifying our little piece of the community. We take great pride in the landscaping and presentation of our stores. We have won numerous awards from each of our communities for the care and effort we put into the landscaping and beautification of our properties. And our Christmas lights have become something of a landmark over the years.
Our support of The Make-a-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. This group of angels makes wishes come true for children fighting life-threatening illnesses. We raise money for the organization throughout the year by featuring a donation with every purchase of a special item and we sponsor a special two day wish-a-thon every December that raises more than $250,000 to help make a lot of kids wishes come true!
Our continuing support of ABCD-After Breast Cancer Diagnosis. ABCD is a support group for women diagnosed with breast cancer. We donate 100% of the profits from our exclusive Survivor Pendant to this wonderful and much needed organization.
We’re honored and proud of our partnership with Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in MI. The money raised benefits many programs and clinics within the hospital. We raise money for the organization throughout the year by featuring a donation with every purchase of a special item and we sponsor a special two day radiothon every December that raises more than $250,000!
Most recently, we started a partnership with the Child Advocacy and Protective Services Center at Children's Wisconsin. The Child Advocacy Center is a place to help the child and family feel comfortable, safe, and supported. Kesslers is donating “You Are Brave” bracelets. Each bracelet is provided to a patient of the Child Advocacy and Protective Services Centers to serve as a reminder they are brave and supported.
